An Enchanted Blade (妖刀, yōtō) overfills the body with spirit energy and leaves as a shape the bearer can steer: goldfish, clouds, flowers, feathers. Most have three named techniques and a True Realm when intent locks with the steel. Lifelong Contracts bind a blade to one nervous system and shut innate sorcery off. Magatsumi refuses the three-count. If Akemura dies, the other five wartime bearers die with him.
The public knows six. The Kamunabi want six. Enten is the seventh, forged after the war, because Kunishige could not smash the wartime steel on an anvil. Individual technique files live under Enchanted Blades. This page is the pictured introduction that used to sit on the homepage.
The seventh. Forged after the war, with Chihiro. Water and three goldfish: Kuro (black slash), Aka (drink an attack, spend it), Nishiki (tricolor cloak, ailment resist). True Realm is Magatsumi’s death. Not in the wartime knot. A wartime blade manifests weather. Enten manifests the house.

Shinuchi. Akemura. Flowers, insects, Spider / Dragonfly / Centipede / Butterfly / Bee. No three-technique limit. Malediction after the treaty, ~200,000 civilians. Anyone who holds the sheathed blade starts becoming the Master. If he dies, the other five wartime bearers die with him.
Fifth forged. Uruha, later Hiruhiko. Hallucination, banquet, Play. A wartime blade that looks like a stage. Uruha cannot use Crimson Recital while the contract is his. Hiruhiko spends Play like a wrecking ball.
Samura’s support blade. Feathers, an owl over the country, Suzaku, flames that heal the wielder and burn everyone else. Cut the contract without cutting the person is his specialty. Passes to Iori.
Two wartime blades have no names in the printed chapters. Subaru Urita is a surviving bearer; one portrait in the war ensemble is still unnamed. The directory, the contracts, and the ore live under Enchanted Blades, Contracts, and Datenseki.
