The Kyonagi (鏡凪) are a regenerative clan. Char is the last. She can close her own wounds and other people’s. Sojo kidnaps her and her mother to test whether that healing can stabilize Datenseki. The mother is hunted with her and is not given a separate file on this site; the chapters do not hand us a standalone biography. Char ends up at Cafe Haru Haru, then in Kaburato, then out.
Not a blade contract
Kyonagi regeneration is innate, not a Lifelong Contract. That is why Sojo treats Char as ore homework instead of a bearer. Lineage.html mentioned the house.
