Yoji Uruha was the war bearer, loyal to the Rokuhira name, a prodigy’s vocation. After Samura’s Suzaku “kills” the contract, Hiruhiko inherits the blade and discovers the extension: if Play is respect, contempt is a wrecking ball. Destructive Play is that reading, not a new named art. The Kyoto Bloodshed Hotel loses its upper floors to it.

Uruha’s room
Uruha’s oiran are a war prodigy’s vocation. Banquet is not a party. It is a sense-killing stage cue. Natsuki wanted this sword and did not get it; the resentment is printed. Loyalty to the Rokuhira name is why Uruha can carry theater without turning it into a tantrum. When Samura cuts him down, Suzaku: kill the contract, keep the man. Hiruhiko’s room
Hiruhiko does not love objects. Blood Crane on the train, a kabuki house, then Play at the hotel: every fight is a performance he wants someone to stay for. Chihiro will not stay. Eighteen, killed at three, treats Chihiro as a peer-shaped friend. Friendship is a stage. Furniture is not a friend. Destructive Play drops the upper floors because contempt is fluent too. Suzaku later heals a building he had already started to unmake. Volume 8, Dawn, is dust and a silhouette under Owl. Dawn after a night battle is not a repaired hotel. It is a daughter who remembers, and a wreck.
