The squad
Ikuto Hagiwara commands. Shiyumi Harima holds Gansui, the airborne field. Kiyohiko Uzuki binds, then meets Mei. Makoto Kasahara has enlarged hands. Hajime Kugara is iron body, later a hallucination’s face. Kazane Machi is the unused secret weapon, arm first. Chapter 12 is Preparations. The ACG squad is being built while Chihiro is already late to their brief.
They are how the Kamunabi looked in the first book. Hiyuki and Tafuku are how it wishes it looked later. The weather sword does not care about the wish. Four of six die. Hagiwara loses both legs. Chapter 98 will later title him Worthless Commander, a quoted cruelty the long book still uses.
Why the desk keeps them
