The house
Itsuo Shirakai’s Iai White Purity Style is a speed school. Eyes closed. Samura and Uruha are the famous students. Kiri is the founder’s granddaughter, raised in part by both, carrying a two-meter odachi into a curriculum that told her women cannot. Chapter 52 is Just the Two of Us. The Iai house as ethics, not a tournament.
Samura takes Tobimune, the support blade. Uruha takes Kumeyuri. After the raid they are boxed. Uruha is moved. Samura is at Senkutsuji. The long book starts when a box is attacked. Friendship is already a weekly title before the cut.
The cut
Hakuri returns Tobimune at the temple. Samura clears Senkutsuji, then cuts Uruha down. Suzaku: kill the contract, keep the man. It looks like a Hishaku pact. It is the Iai house spending its ethics as surgery. Switch, chapter 78, is contracts moving. The false death is the door the assassination arc walks through.
