Ukizane Soga is a historical name, not a present-tense fighter. The printed chapters say he nearly destroyed the Mikaboshi before they hid under the sea. The Mikaboshi king answered by building an enormous branched sphere in the deep, Datenseki as architecture, so the clan could live with the ore instead of dying to it. Irishima’s later earthquake and Shokoku’s rise are those kings coming back for a vein the Soga once tried to end.
Why the name is not Chiaki
Chiaki is Princess Soga in the talks. Hiroto, Yoshinojo, and Giyu are the war-generation house. Ukizane is the reason the undersea page exists: a Soga success so complete it created a nation that could wait a thousand years.
