The grounds
Hakuri walks a support blade across the country into a temple. Samura clears the grounds, then cuts Uruha down. Suzaku: kill the contract, keep the man. The look is a pact. The grounds are a surgery. Masumi have already been in this logic as silence-keepers. Owl will later treat Japan as a room the way this temple treated a classmate.
